I took Rick's class in the summer of 2010 and, in just eight sessions I went from being a nervous wreck to performing with more ease than I ever thought possible. Classes are laid back, but a lot of work ends up getting done, and each student is given ample time to rehearse already written material or test out new jokes. I moved to New York from Australia after being a comic for 3 years. I came to Rick to iron out all the bad habits or ‘creases’ that I still had as a new comic and to prepare me for a transition into the NYC comedy scene. Even with 3 years of experience behind me, Rick has been able to give me priceless information to help me with my writing, structure but more then anything, with my delivery techniques. His advise from years of experience has helped slow down my performance BUT made my jokes come faster and improved my set to no end.
